Picture Post: Lombada Dogs

You know I'm a dog lover. The strays I see around here on a daily basis break my heart, but often their playful attitudes and adorable faces also bring a smile to my face.

These guys had me all smiles!

My husband snapped this picture on his way to work one morning this week. He has to travel through several very small towns and with the limited amount of traffic going through the dogs often take up residence on or near the street.

A lot of them like to guard the lombadas (speed bump, sleeping police man). I think these two might be twins. They were just waking up to a South American sunrise.
